V for Vendetta holds a high place in my heart. With wonderful acting from both Natalie Portman and Hugo Weaving, the movie becomes a great retelling of the original comic book by Alan Moore. The movie has incredible dialogue and action sequences, and the story line itself will make you question a lot about your own government. It is extremely emotional and you will form an intense attachment to the characters as you watch. The movie never gets old to watch either, as it has a plethora of exciting scenes. The only take away is the way it differs from the original comic. It tones down the themes of anarchism by a lot, most likely to make the movie appeal to a larger audience, as some people may have been unnecessarily offended by the themes. 4/5 - @ecozones of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library
