Summary
The story picks up on the lives of Elyse and Kelly ("Love in Mid-Air") as they reach the age of 50. Kelly is now a widow, and she stumbles upon ballroom dancing as the means to open doors to a new life. As trite as this premise might sound, the novel explores what it is like to be on your own, trying to make a life for yourself. Kelly also volunteers with hospice patients, and she frowns close to Caroline, who is dying of breast cancer. The author uses works exquisitely. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
