I cannot wait to see what they do for the film version of this. Ig Perrish had a pretty decent life with his girlfriend Merrin until she was raped and murdered and he was blamed for it. He was never charged with anything but her murderer was never found and in the court of public opinion he is guilty beyond any shadow of a doubt. One year later, Ig wakes up with horns growing out of his forehead and these horns come with some very specific powers - like making everyone near him want to tell him their deepest darkest secrets. It's a horror story, a mystery, a thriller, and a meditation of grief and what happens when your life is ruined by not only the death of a loved one but being blamed for it. There's a fair amount of religious imagery and satire and meditations on good and evil too so even while the content can be outrageous there is still some deeper thought in here too as we watch what Ig becomes and wonder how much of this is actually his own choice.
