Younger Next Year is a realistic exercise book for people anywhere north of forty. There is information about why it’s important to exercise, what type of exercise is necessary, and the level of intensity required. There are great illustrations and instructions for 25 “sacred exercises.” There is even a little humor. After each exercise, there is a section “Too difficult?” or “Too easy” so you can modify as needed. After asking if the single-leg squat was too easy, they write “If you think this is too easy, you have stumbled into the wrong book.” This is an exercise book I might even purchase to use as reference.
