For anybody who is curious about what it means to be transgender, this is the book for you, because it's written by an amazing transgendered teen who is the definition of the word "advocate." Follow Jazz's story as she tells you about how she grew up in a boy's body but knew from the very beginning she was a girl. Some of her struggles are hard to read because of their unfairness, such as her legal fight to play on the girl's soccer team, her right to use the girl's bathroom, and being teased at school. Fortunately, Jazz has an amazingly supportive family, unlike many other transgender youth, which is why she spends so much of her time advocating for transgender rights.
