Arizona Opera Book Club - Frankenstein

In an exciting collaboration with Arizona Opera, we will be bringing you book recommendations to augment your viewing of Arizona Opera's 2023/24 Season. We will create a new booklist for each performance, so check back! A living, feeling Creature is brought to life only to be forsaken by its creator, Victor Frankenstein. Embracing Shelley's original text, Frankenstein gives poignant voice to the Creature's struggle and lays bare the horror of alienation and "otherness" with exquisite nuance. Frankenstein by Gregg Kallor opens in Phoenix on Oct. 13 at the Herberger Theatre Center and in Tucson on Oct. 21 at the Temple of Music and Art.
