You've Got a Place Here, Too
An Anthology of Black Love Stories at HBCUs
Whether it's published as YA or adult romance, we love stories about new adults—people in that college-aged period where they're learning how to be grown-ups, and dealing with all that life might bring (and in the case of the historicals, how to avoid going on the marriage market before you're ready). While the books published for a YA audience might lean more coming-of-age, the youngest adults (AKA over 18) in the adult romance space are learning about life, hardship, sexuality, and all that good stuff. Be aware which of each of these books is published for either of those audiences, because the ones that are for adults might include some explicit sexual content.
