I look forward to reading her novels.

This book hits every mark. From the amazing author who brought us Mañana Means Heaven, a poignant telling of the 1948 plane wreck at Los Gatos. Hernandez combines a reporter's eye with the heart of a storyteller to offer a view into the lives of those who lost their lives on that fateful day. His compassion for fellow human beings shines through in every beautiful word delivered, while his field notes provide insight into the painstaking research that went into the project. I will carry this book in my heart and mind for a long time.
